About Me

Mr. Seo, a Korean-born attorney raised and educated in South America, boasts over two decades of legal practice. He began his legal journey as a case worker at the Asian American Pacific Dispute Resolution Center in Los Angeles, California, facilitating mediation cases outside the court system. Today, he is the owner of CTLaw Group, a law firm that spans across four states.

Throughout his career, Mr. Seo has held notable positions such as Legal Advisor to the General Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Chicago and for various Korean-American associations, including the Federation of Korean-American Associations in the U.S.A. and the Korean American Association of Chicago. He currently serves as legal counsel for Y.S. Health, Inc. and Logos Missions, Inc.

Beyond his legal pursuits, Mr. Seo has been deeply involved in community service. The Korean American Association of Chicago elected Mr. Seo as its Vice President and later as its President. He has also been active in organizations like the Lions Club, Rotary Club, and the National Unification Advisory Council, where he served as General Secretary for four years. Notably, he drafted the resolution for the ratification of the North Korean Human Rights Act by the Illinois Congress and Senate.

Moreover, Mr. Seo passionately guides the next generation.  He founded the American Multicultural Society to empower students as global leaders. His efforts have earned him numerous accolades, including awards from the Republic of Korea President, the World Korean Interchange and Corporation Association, and recognition from the President of the United States.

Mr. Seo holds a Juris Doctor, Masters of Business Administration, Masters of International Management, Attorney Assistant Certificate in Corporate/Litigation, and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.
